In this hands on class we will dig, clean and process roots! Depending on the where we are in the season, we will harvest some of the following: marshmallow, astragalus, comfrey, elecampane, echinacea, horseradish, Solomon's seal, dandelion, valerian, yellow dock and/or wild carrot. We will also discuss different ways to preserve and make medicine with the roots.
This class will be held in Essex at my home garden. You will be sent the address after you register. Please bring a digging tool if you have one and a small glass jar for making a folk method tincture.
