This intensive class will cover the basics of field wound management, treatment of burns, care for sprains and fractures, protocols for evacuation, and other important techniques for low-resource settings. We will discuss herbs, honey, and basic supplies - and how to gather, prepare, and apply them. While this is not an emergency medicine course, it will provide the foundations for safe and effective care when far from cell phones, ambulances, and hospitals.
