Join Railyard Apothecary for our twice monthly plant walks!  Our experienced herbalists will point out plants that grow all around us which have known medicinal or edible uses.  Many of these plants will appear common and familiar, and you may be surprised to learn about their healing properties!

After these plant walks you will be able to safely identify some of these common plants, know what they can be used for, and know how to prepare them.  With walks such as these you may find that you see our ordinary landscape in an incredible new way.

In this walk, Susan Staley of the Burlington Herb Clinic will point out the many interesting plants growing in the immediate area of Railyard Apothecary.  Though usually not a good place to harvest, our urban areas are rich with a diversity of plants which have a long history of use by people, providing a great opportunity to learn about these plants.
