During the transition into autumn and winter are bodies have to adapt from the warmth and humidity of summer to the cold and the dryness of the new season. As a result of this transition, many people experience challenges to our immune systems in the form of allergies or illness. Traditional herbal medicine helps us address these things through:
Nick has been practicing as a clinical herbalist at Railyard Apothecary since 2017. His prior education included a three-year clinical herbalist training program at the Vermont Center for Integrative Herbalism (VCIH) in Montpelier, VT, an internship at Herb Pharm, and a Community Herbalism Intensive at the Northeast School of Botanical Medicine.

- Incorporating herbs into our everyday routine to keep our bodies in balance, such as through herbal tea and cooking spices
- Taking special more potent herbs for when we get sick or otherwise feel unwell
