Join us for a deep dive into skin health! This is the first class in a 3-part series. You are invited but not required to attend all three.
Herbal Approaches to Skin Health
We’ll start with an overview of skin anatomy and the basics of what our skin generally needs to function well. From there we’ll look at some common skin concerns and discuss:
In the next classes in the series, participants will learn how to make potent herb-infused oils and formulate herbal skincare for their specific skin’s needs.
Brooke is a clinical and community herbalist, product maker, teacher, and worker-owner at Railyard Apothecary. The intersection of their love of product making and a personal history of chronic “skin stuff” has prompted Brooke to seek deeper study of skin health and herbal skincare formulation. She loves to test out different methods of making remedies in pursuit of crafting effective and lovely to use herbal formulations (and because it’s very fun). Brooke also offers clinical herbal consultations for those navigating skin and other health challenges.
