Take a moment to relax in sisterhood on a high summer evening and celebrate the season's abundance! Lughnasadh (or Lammas) is a harvest holiday of plenty, a time to reflect on what we've planted in our lives and to give thanks for full bellies and the Year Wheel's turning. Together we'll share a meal and ceremony in honor of the Harvest Mother, our place on this beautiful planet, and the bounty of garden and field. Please bring something for the altar that symbolizes the season (traditional offerings include grains, fresh fruits and vegetables, loaves of bread, figurines, and candles), and a potluck dish to share.
Led by Jessica LaBrie of Blackbird's Daughter Botanicals, this Circle is designed to fill your well with sweet Goddess energy and encourage your connection to the sacredness of nature. Please note that while ALL people are Sacred, this evening is specifically for folks who identify as women. If you would like to take part in a mixed-gender circle, please let us know we will make it happen in the future.
Jessica LaBrie is a practicing herbalist, spiritual perfumier, and the founder of Blackbird’s Daughter Botanicals.
