We're all feeling it in some way. The stress, the overwhelm, the anxiety. Our minds keep going, searching for an answer, for what can be done to change this situation.
The reality is there ARE solutions, there ARE actions to take, and we should try to find them. There is much to do to care for others, to lend a hand, to stand up for what is right.
But in this process many of us feel stuck - burnt out, apathetic, unknowing of what to do. The stress feels too much, and despair may begin to creep in.
In most cases, we fluctuate - between certainty and unease, at times feeling capable and at times confused.
What this class is about is a reminder that an important piece of this puzzle is self-care. There is a time for action, and there is a time for rest. There is a time for imagining the brightest possibilities, and there is a time for feeling into the worry of what may lie ahead.
With self-care, we give ourselves what we need to feel balanced again. We make space for ourselves to rejuvenate and heal. And we build back up our energy so that we can keep showing up for ourselves and others.
Specifically, we'll be talking about plant allies that can help in these ways:
Join us to learn and to share, and to help connect with the rejuvenating power of Nature.
Taught by Nick Cavanaugh. Nick is a clinical herbalist and one of four co-owners of Railyard Apothecary. His training included a three-year clinical training program at the Vermont Center for Integrative Herbalism where he graduated in 2016. He's been working at Railyard Apothecary since then.

- Relaxing herbs that can help us sleep, or just take the edge off during the day
- Mood uplifting herbs that help us stay oriented toward the positive and the possibility
- Adaptogens that can help us to build resiliency and become more adaptable to the ups and downs that we face
