In Person at Railyard Apothecary
Applying herb-infused oils to our skin can be profoundly supportive, not only for the skin but for the whole body. Whether we’re incorporating them into our daily self care or using them as needed for specific concerns, infused oils, salves, and creams are a valuable addition to any home apothecary. This class, taught by Railyard Apothecary staff member, Brooke Sambol, will discuss methods of infusing herbs into oils and how to make other oil-based remedies, like salve and cream. We’ll discuss examples of when and how we might use these oil preparations and have the opportunity to make a salve and cream together during class, which participants can bring home.
