In person at Railyard Apothecary
Did you know that there are many ways to brew a cup of tea? And even more creative ways to use herbal teas? This experiential class, taught by Railyard Apothecary staff member Laura Rose Dailey, will dive deep into the topic of water-based herbal preparations. We'll learn about the differences between hot water infusions, cold water infusions, and decoctions, talk about the benefits of each and the situations when it’s most appropriate to choose each preparation. We’ll also discuss tea formulation methods, and each participant will have the opportunity to make their own blend to take home.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This summer, join us for a series of classes on herbal medicine making! Whether you’re completely new to the process or have experience but hope to gain a better understanding, these classes will provide specific guidance, opportunity to practice, and samples to take home!
