Join Railyard herbalist Emma Merritt for this class all about catnip!

Nepeta cataria, commonly know as catnip or catmint, is a mint family plant most well known for its enjoyment among our feline companions. But catnip isn't just for cats! While catnip contains chemical substances that draw cats in (and drive them wild!) catnip also can have a gentle but noticeable effect on our human physiology.

While catnip is stimulating to cats in most cases, it tends to have the opposite effect on humans, and can be used as a mild calming, relaxing herb for soothing tension and easing into sleep.

To learn more about how to grow, harvest, and use catnip as herbal medicine, join herbalist Emma Merritt for this free class!

Cost: Free. Registration required. Please register on our website by 5pm the day of. We will email you a link to join us on Zoom by 5:30pm.
