Join herbalist Jessica Churchill for a free class on Zoom all about astragalus!
Astragalus, also know as Huáng Qí, is a perennial herb in the pea family. It is an important herbal remedy in traditional Chinese medicine and its use dates back thousands of years! It is the root of this plant that us used medicinally to address a variety of conditions and imbalances, most of which concern the immune system and lung health. Because it is safe and food-like, it is often taken long-term, or throughout the cold season, to keep the body strong.
Jessica will share her knowledge of the plant, along with a recipe for delicious astragalus chai!
