Join herbalist Emma Merritt on Zoom to learn how to make hydrosols at home! You don't need any fancy equipment--she'll show you have to make a home "still" using equipment you already own!
A hydrosol, sometimes called a flower water, is a steam distillation of the aromatic component of a plant. If the herb has a scent, you can make a hydrosol with it! Some common hydrosols include, rose, evergreens such as cedar, chamomile, lavender, mint, basil, and angelica. Hydrosols can be used as toners for the skin, aromatherapy, or even in small amounts to flavor beverages.
Learn all about it in the class!
Cost: $5, registration required. Register by 4pm the day of. We will email you a Zoom link by 4:30pm.
