Join herbalist Julia Shaw on Zoom for this class all about Echinacea Tops!
Echinacea is a flowering perennial native to North America. It is a favorite among flower gardeners, with it's hardy, eye-catching blossoms. While best-known for its mouth-tingling, immune-enhancing roots, the aerial parts of the plant, including blossoms, leaves, and buds, can all be used for medicine. Echinacea tops have similar properties to the roots, with immune stimulating, lymphatic, and antimicrobial action. Echinacea tops have the benefit of conservation: they can be harvested without sacrificing the whole plant. The leaves and flowers make a lovely tea.
Join us to learn more about Echinacea's medicinal properties.
Cost: Free. Registration required. Registration closes 1 hour prior to the class. We will email you a link to Zoom.
