Do you want to deepen your understanding of how dietary and lifestyle practices can improve your clients’ health and the success of your protocols? Are you interested in learning a model that helps you track disease, its varied expressions, and its eventual resolution? This workshop will reveal the ROOT CAUSES of ill-health  from the classical Ayurvedic lens, by unveiling the various causes, signs and symptoms, and expressions of six common diseases. You will discover how to recognize the seeds of disease before complete disease expression and apply dietary, lifestyle and herbal recommendations to your treatment protocols. In this six-week course, the first class will focus on an introduction to Ayurveda and the Ayurvedic physiology model, followed by five classes discovering the root and resolution of – (1) Digestive Disease and Food Allergies  (2) Fevers and Respiratory infections (3) Arthritis and Varieties of Joint Pain (4) Skin Diseases including acne, eczema and psoriasis (5) Seasonal Allergies and Asthma . 

About Emma Landau AP, RYT:
Emma is a certified Ayurvedic Practitioner with over 1500 hours of training at the Ayurvedic Institute, the leading school for Ayurvedic medicine in the US. She completed her studies under world-renown author and Ayurvedic physician, Dr. Vasant Lad, pursued advanced clinical studies both at the Ayurvedic Institute under Nomi Gallo, AP and in Karnataka, India under Dr. Ashwin Shashtry of Arogyna Niketana. She holds a BSc from Cornell University, is a member of the National Ayurvedic Medicine Association, certified AyurYoga® instructor, Core Synchronism practitioner, and supports women through authentic Ayurvedic pre-natal and post-partum care. By addressing the root cause of imbalances and disease through diet, lifestyle, herbs, yoga, meditation, and subtle energy therapies, clients through her practice, work to reconnect with their optimum health.
