Saturday, January 4th, 10am-12pm
Do you have adenomyosis, endometriosis, or heavy periods and either grin and bear it or take painkillers for menstrual cramps and pelvic pain?
In this hands on workshop, we will co create a safe space to explore reflexology, restorative yoga, and pelvic massage specific for holistic pelvic pain relief. First, we will practice reflexology points on ourselves to balance hormones and ease pain. Next, we’ll learn about how to do pelvic self massage to break up scar tissue, increase circulation, and ease menstrual cramps. Last, we will do a few easy, relaxing yoga poses and a calming breathing exercise.
Then, for the second hour of this workshop, we will have a support circle where we cheer each other on, and listen as we share what we’re going through.
Wear comfortable clothing and bring a snack to share if you like. I will bring seed cycling balls for hormone balance. If you don’t have the energy to bring something, that’s okay too! Feel free to come to all or just the first or second half of this.
Facilitator Bio:
Sara Lopez is a Certified Hormone Specialist and Women’s Health Coach in Burlington, Vermont. She is the founder of Gush, an online magazine for brave beauties with adenomyosis, endo, &/or heavy periods. Sara offers consultations to women all over the world to find relief from heavy periods and/or transform their hormones. Sara used to pass out from pelvic pain. On her journey to find relief, she saw a top endometriosis specialist who told her she would have to take synthetic hormones forever. She refused to believe this and from then on, aimed to change the limited options women have for these conditions. Her work blends wisdom from her grandmothers with the latest techniques in holistic health to support women in tuning into their bodies and intuition.
