Self-massage has no shortage of benefits, from balancing your nervous system to promoting healthy lymphatic circulation, improving the skin's natural defense capabilities to providing your whole exterior with a lustrous, vital glow, and so much more.
We invite you to learn this staple self-care tool from the Ayurvedic tradition on the cusp of our Winter season, right when we'll be needing it the most.
If you have been curious about Ayurveda, are seeking an accessible and rewarding tool to help you stay resilient and joyful all winter long, or if you just love to embrace all things cozy and treat yo'self oriented, come join!
This workshop is hosted by Marisa Hall, a Montpelier-based Ayurvedic health counselor, yoga instructor and creator of MJH Body Oils. If you've given her doshic-balancing body oils a try, she'd love to hear from you! There will be time after the workshop to ask questions about her formulas and to receive some guidance around what blend may work best for you.
Cost: $35, materials included
Participants are encouraged to bring a large towel or old sheet to sit on, and wear comfortable, casual clothing that can be rolled up.
