Explore the tremendous health-promoting and healing potential of the vibrant ingredients in your kitchen! Ayurveda offers a system of understanding the unique qualities and energetic principles associated with each vegetable, meat, grain, fruit and otherwise in our kitchen. Refine your ability to employ food as medicine specific to your Ayurvedic constitution and learn to utilize foods for your body type, your time of life and each season. We will cover topics including the 6-tastes and their action on the body and mind, “heating” and “cooling” foods that address the topic of inflammation and the metabolic influence of ingredients, and the qualities unique in each food with their influence on the mind and body.
Cost: $20, or $70 for all four classes in the series.
