Nature abounds in and around our urban landscape! Discovering the abundance and diversity of ecosystems helps us to better understand ourselves, our communities, and the land. In this series led by herbalists from Railyard Apothecary, you will explore the wild areas close to Burlington and the medicinal plants that call these spaces home. Learn how to identify and harvest herbs and use them as medicine!
Join Emma Merritt for this walk at Oakledge Park along lake Champlain in the south end of Burlington. a favorite summertime recreation area and sunset viewing spot, has a variety of areas to explore including fields and cliff-side forest.
