Tackle your quitting goal with a holistic approach. This workshop combines the mind and the body elements of quitting. Facilitated by a psychotherapist at Railyard trained in change-making endeavors, you will be guided through a process of working with your motivations and your obstacles to quitting. In the final section of the workshop, Emma Merritt, an herbalist at Railyard, will teach herbal strategies to support your process of quitting smoking. You will learn about how herbs can help support the mind and body through the quitting process. Herbs can ease tension, reduce the perception of stress, and soothe digestion. Herbal remedies also play a supportive role in healing the lungs and cardiovascular system. Leave the workshop with new understanding and tools to see you through to your non-smoking self.
